A great solution FOR TOOTH LOSS

Although dentures are a common way to replace missing teeth, they aren’t suitable for everyone and often a permanent solution is more beneficial.

Tooth implants have many benefits including:

  • Renewed ability to chew and speak properly.
  • Restoration of facial aesthetics.
  • Preservation of the remaining jawbone structure.
  • Reduction of possible gum problems and infections.
  • Increased confidence and self-esteem as a result of all of the above.

If you’re thinking about dental implants, call our team to get started and we can arrange a suitable time to have an in-depth consultation.

HOW ARE IMPLANTS FITTED?

Implants are made of commercially and medically pure titanium. This is the same metal that has been successfully used in hip replacements for many years. It is inert and is not known to cause any type of rejection phenomenon.

The implants are fitted by first inserting a titanium piece into your jawbone, creating a solid foundation for your new tooth to sit on. This can be thought of almost like a ‘peg’. The prosthetic teeth are placed on these ‘pegs’, leaving you with a beautiful smile.

Implants can used to replace anything from one tooth to a full set and, with the correct care, could last you a lifetime.

Our dentists understand that implants are seen as a big treatment for most people which is why we will always make sure you have the opportunity to have a full consultation and ask any questions before we begin.
